Anthony Boyle plays the real-life soldier Brian Wood, and Toby Jones plays the tenacious human rights lawyer Phil Sheener, who accuses him of committing war crimes in Iraq. The two faced each other in a legal and moral conflict that took us from the battlefield - at the so-called Danny Boy checkpoint - to the courts, as well as one of the largest public investigations in British history, the Al Swedi investigation.
