The New York District Attorney has requested lawyer Sean Casey to try drug lord Jordan Washington on charges of murdering two police officers and injuring the third police officer, Sean's father. The exposure of the trial was a boom for Sean's career, but when Washington lawyer Sam Vigoda accused the police of corruption and brought Sean too close to home, Sean developed disagreements between justice, profession, and family.
